Yeah, Yeah, I Know

It's another one of those upsetting "I can't write anything right now!!" posts. Sorry, dear readers!

I have been soooooo so so busy with my mom here and two papers to write by Friday that I have had no time to even putter around on the internet! Which is what I usually do with my free time!!! pant pant pant. I'll just do a short summary:

I played chicks footy on Saturday! It was MONDO FUN!!!! It was all muddy and gross, it was hilarious.
Also, I booked my spring break trip! I am going to Cairns for five days. Alone. Gulp. But I think it will be alright. I'm staying in a youth hostel where I should be able to meet some cool people to hang out with for four days.
Went to the zoo today with mom and SAW THE OTTERS!!!!!!!! AY AY CARUMBA THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!! I think they are my favorite animal. Not owls. Sorry, owls. You are in a tie for second place with seals.

Aaaaaand that's all the latest. I swear I will post a real update soon! But not very soon. Mom and I are going to the Grampians this weekend!!! Don't know what they are? LOOK 'EM UP. I don't care to explain what they are to you.

Alright, I am running low on sleep right now, seeing as I wrote like a thousand words of an essay today, so I'd best be off. See ya on the flip side, brothas!!!!

A Little Bit o' This, a Little Bit o' That

Pant pant pant pant.

I have been SO BUSY. I really need to update this thingy! But now I'm going to bed. I have some fun news for you guys so I will make sure to post tomorrow. I got invited to Olivia's Corri Crawl, which is like a party but just for the people in the hallway you live on, and they invited little old me!!!! I was so psyched and I felt so looooved. And it was crazy fun. That was actually on Thursday night. Since then, I have been recuperating from that night (it got a little crazy, but in the best ways possible :D) and working on an essay that's due next week. I hate homework. Haha. Melbourne has been so awesome so far because I haven't had any actual work to do yet, except for that presentation. I guess I have to tell you guys about that too! Sheesh, are you guys behind.

Well, gee, I think I'll go to bed because I am already falling asleep, and then I can update this tomorrow morning. I love and miss everyone! Oh, and one more little thing, ELEVEN DAYS UNTIL MY MOMMY COMES!!!!! I know, all you people who aren't me are so jealous that you don't get to spend a bunch of vacation time with her. I cannot wait. I was also procrastinating my paper today and that involved a lot of planning what to do when Mom comes. Anyway, I am ranting, I will update tomorrow!

Busy Busy Busy!

I thought of entitling this post “Busy Little Bee” but that makes me think of Joaquin Phoenix acting like a real creeper in Gladiator, and that makes me uncomfortable haha.

This post is dedicated to my amazing friends back home. I got to talk to Margaret today on skype, and I am just so thankful I can talk to all my pals back home every so often, like Moin, Margaret, Ellen, Anthony, even if just for five minutes. I would like to talk to everyone else too! So pals, if you have a skype account, please add me. I am the one that’s not my full name, it’s the other one. I have been very busy so I just wanted to write a short post.

Tomorrow I am presenting on national iconography in early Australian art during the impressionist period. I have been working NONSTOP along with a lot of procrastinating by going online and looking at random stuff like fashion photography and finding Queens people on facebook.
There’s this guy I think is really cute here at Queens, he lives on Olivia’s floor. I sat next to him at dinner tonight. I’m not sure if he’s a real ladies man, it doesn’t seem like he gets noticed a lot and he’s pretty quiet. His name is Matt. Just friended him on facebook. :D He just seems really interesting, and he is very nice, and he seems smart. Whenever he cracks a joke, it’s always a good one. So yeah, I have a little crush on him. I will go on (and on, probably) in my next post, probably tomorrow night, unless I’m out celebrating being done with this presentation.

Anyway, I love and miss everyone SO MUCH!!!! I guess this post was more of a letter to everyone, haha. Oh, and I decorated my room with lots of pictures of your guys’ faces. :) I love you!!!!!! Xoxoxo! Goodnight!

How Are You Going?

... is a phrase they say here. Instead of "how are you doing?" It really messes me up actually, I always have to pause and figure out what they mean.

Anyway, I am super busy right now, and it is late at night on a Thursday, and Olivia wants to go to this really early netball game tomorrow (I don't know what the heck netball is, I hear it's like basketball, but sorta pansy, like it's a no contact sport... :/) and I have had NO time to update you all, but I promise I will tomorrow! So much has been happening! I really have no time to process it, but it's all good, I think. :)

So I will update tomorrow! I looooooove love love and miss everyone!!!! I wish I could give you all giant hugs! Goodnight!

P.s. Australians don't know how to dance, REALLY. It is so annoying. They play all of this American music and can't dance to it!!! Sheesh. Anyway, I'll explain tomorrow. Goodnight!

Right Now, really Quickly

So I finally have internet! And I put up posts for my first days here!

Please read them in order. I find reading things in order is really important to me, for some reason. I guess for these, it's necessary to know the back story. My emotions have been all over the place, due to the circumstances, sooo yeah.

I miss everyone at home SO MUCH.

I really want this first-time-abroad fear and loneliness to get over with, because it's really draining me. But right now I have to go bowling at a pub!! How hilarious will that be? I will post about it later tonight, since I have internet! Mwa ha haaa! Oh and I will put up my pictures. I'm trying to not take too many, because I tend to go overboard.

Oh, and you will all be happy to know that my hair is behaving very well, even though I don't have a blow dryer or straightener. I think it likes the climate. Speaking of climate, is is sooo cold right now! I want to keep my jacket on inside! Okay, gotta go. I love and miss everyone!!!
