Dinner was a success!

Just thought I’d let you guys know. I just did what I do back in Medford and made veggies with garlic and soy sauce and spaghetti. Easy peezy lemon squeezy. I made a little bit too much, though. I was about to burst and I had to stop myself from eating anymore. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have room for a Tim Tam right now…

My stomach has been doing this weird thing, though, where I feel kind of ill after I eat, like I need to burp really badly but can’t. It’s not a nice feeling. :( It goes away after a little while, but I just don’t know how to deal with it. Maybe it’s related to my cold? I don’t know. Too much information? I think yes.

So the plan for tomorrow is to meet Olivia for breakfast before my meeting to enroll for classes at eleven, then I think I’ll go to the bank to see about transferring money, since I couldn’t today. Then Monika, Morgan and I are going to go to this clothing store on Lygon Street because they want something cute to wear tomorrow night. I’m not sure I’ll get anything, since I don’t want to spend my money, but I would like to see what clothing costs around here. Tomorrow night there is a party at a pub or something for the students doing orientation right now. I hope Australian students are there again!

Oh, and I met my next door neighbors finally! One’s name is Avil, or something like that. I am probably totally messing up the spelling. He’s from Sri Lanka. I didn’t get the other one’s name, but he’s pretty cute and has an Australian accent, but I can’t actually tell if he’s from around here. He was chomping down his dinner, I didn’t want to interrupt him. They were very nice and let me and Monika watch Gilmore Girls, haha. I tested out the tv while I ate dinner (Monika joined me later) and we get a ton of channels, including some that show a lot of American shows. I got to watch Scrubs too, hooray! I think there are probably a lot of American tv shows on here, seems like American shows and movies are shown all over the world. Even the bad ones, like My Name is Earl (it came on after Scrubs… I was like -__-). No wonder Australians have a messed up sense of what Americans are like. Anywho, I am going to do a little decorating and get in bed, I’m pooped! Love all my homies back in the states! I miss you all a bundle and wish I could take you around with me in my pocket so I could be with you all the time! Love love love!
